So the first week of the fantasy baseball season is just about done, and what have we seen? As always, there are key injuries (Chris Carpenter, Johnny Damon, etc.), weather plays a role, there are good starts and bad, and sometimes the fantasy owner wants to be reactive and change everything. Well, that happens most of the time.

Take a step back.

Enjoy your Easter Sunday with family and friends and remember, the fantasy baseball season lasts six long, grueling months. Don't even look at the standings today. They don't matter. Nobody gets a trophy for being in first place on April 8. Don't make silly trades. Albert Pujols will knock in a run at some point. Alfonso Soriano will steal a base. You've gotta be patient. Fantasy leagues are not won in early-April, but they sure can be lost.
