The Rangers were down 2-0 in the top of the third inning Tuesday night, and up came Ian Kinsler to face Kelvim Escobar. And there it goes! Kinsler hit his second home run in as many games, and later would take a few walks, steal a base, score two of the three Rangers runs, hand out some free t-shirts and sell hot dogs as his team fell to 0-2. Kinsler did what he could.

Why is this guy hitting ninth?

I know it's early -- very early -- and we should all give the other Rangers more of a look than this, especially that Sammy Sosa fella, but Kinsler put up numbers last season, and he's going to do it again. You don't think the stats are that special because you forgot he missed 42 games. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this guy should be hitting fifth in the order. Why do you care? Certainly that would take Kinsler from his current status of being owned in only four out of every five leagues to a better place, that potential No. 2 spot overall at second base, which isn't looking as weak as we all thought so far.
