A buddy of mine loves Carl Crawford. Just loves him. He trades for him in leagues he doesn't have him, drafts him higher than he should, spends what it takes in auction leagues, he's just got a thing for Crawford. Nothing wrong with that, I suppose, since Crawford is a definite top 10 player in fantasy this year. If someone has a fantasy crush on Emil Brown, say, then we'd start to wonder.
It dawned on me when I realized I'd never own Crawford in any league that pal of mine is in that I also don't have the other Tampa Bay outfielders anywhere. Delmon Young is being drafted in the top 100 of ESPN average live drafts, but much higher than that in a few leagues I've seen, higher than I will go for a rookie. Rocco Baldelli is no lock to play every day due to health concerns, but that isn't stopping him from being highly sought after as well.
