Sheroid Evans (Sugar Land, Texas/Dulles) is one of the top juniors in the state. The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder with sprinter's speed and a physicality to match has become the focus of programs from coast-to-coast.
"Baylor has offered me and A&M has been showing a lot of interest, but I heard that I have to visit their campus before they offer me," Evans said. "They send me e-mails, but I haven't been up there. Texas is showing interest in me too. North Carolina has just started sending me letters. I've got about 10 letters in the last week from North Carolina. Miami is coming on, Texas Tech, SMU, Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado sends a lot, Oklahoma, Northwestern, Michigan, UCLA and LSU have all been sending stuff,"
An offer from the Aggies could be right around the corner with a trip to College Station planned for Thanksgiving Day.
