DeAndre Washington (Sugar Land, Texas/Fort Bend Marshall) is one of the quickest, most elusive prospects in the Houston area. Blessed with 4.45 speed and lateral quickness, the 5-foot-8, 173-pounder has been on the radar of college programs since his sophomore season.
"I'm being recruited by TCU, Oregon, Texas A&M, Houston and UCLA," said Washington. "There are a lot of schools sending me mail right now, all of the area schools. The top school that has been coming real hard lately is Oregon. They have been recruiting me pretty hard."
Washington was recently offered by a program in Kansas, but which one is still a mystery.
