Lamb, Smith taking their time

The opening day of the early signing period came and went Wednesday. Several blue-chip recruits are signed, sealed and delivered to colleges. If you're wondering about Roscoe Smith and Doron Lamb, seniors at Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.), relax.

Apparently, the duo isn't rushing the process. Both are content balling with the Warriors, who have won their first six games by lopsided margins.

Lamb, a 6-feet-4 wing guard from Queens, N.Y., has made a quantum leap since transferring from Bishop Loughlin (Brooklyn) in 2008.

"I'm here to get my grades up, my body in shape and play the best competition in the country," he told ESPN.com Friday.
