So far, there has been very little negative reaction in terms of recruiting to the official announcement of the retirement of longtime Florida State defensive coordinator Mickey Andrews.
This was a move that had been expected and anticipate since the summer and sources close to the Seminoles program believe that the Florida State coaching staff has done a good job heading off any questions.
The Noles are major players for multiple elite defensive prospects, including Under Armour All-Americans
Lamarcus Joyner (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Saint Thomas Aquinas) and
Christian Jones (Winter Park, Fla./Lake Howell).
