Under Armour All-American defensive back Joshua Shaw (Palmdale, Calif./Palmdale) has made a change for his final official visit and will take a pretty important unofficial visit this coming weekend.

Shaw has already taken official visits Ohio State, Florida, LSU and Notre Dame. He was set to take his final official visit in two weeks to Oklahoma, but has had a change of plans.

"I canceled my visit to Oklahoma and will be visiting Miami now," Shaw said. "I've always liked Miami and the swagger they played with. It looks like they have it back too and they're a lot of fun to watch.

"I'm taking the trip (Dec. 11) after my season is over and that will be my last visit. Even though they came in kind of late for me, I'm definitely giving Miami a serious look and they have a realistic shot for sure."

This weekend, Shaw will take an unofficial visit to Florida. This will be the second time Shaw visits the Gators this year after his official visit back in September.

"I loved my first visit there but just want to spend more time to see if it's the best fit for me," Shaw said. "I want to get a good feel for the campus, the city and hang out with the players. I didn't really get to do that as much as I wanted on my official visit.

"I basically want to see if I can live there and be happy for the next four of five years of my life. My plan is to make my decision on Christmas day, but only the coaches will know and then I'll go public with it at the Under Armour game in January."
