• Junior college tight end
Chase Harper (Austin, Texas/Navarro JC) is closing in on a decision. The 6-foot-6, 240-pound tight end has Nebraska and Iowa State on top with Kansas State and Baylor under consideration. Harper visited Nebraska Sept. 25. and the Cornhuskers are considered to have the inside track.
• Cornerback
Saheed Imoru (Houston/Navarro JC) is considering Pittsburgh, Iowa State, North Texas, New Mexico and Houston. The 5-10, 180-pound with exceptional change-of-direction skills visited Pittsburgh on Oct. 24.
• Defensive tackle
Lawrence Rumph (Keller, Texas/Navarro JC) visited Missouri on Oct. 24, but appears to be set for Texas Tech. Rumph visited Texas Tech Sept. 12 and Kansas State Sept. 25.
No. 2 ranked Navarro Junior College beat No. 1 Blinn Junior College 23-20 on Saturday.
