Miketavious Jones (Houston, Texas/North Shore) is one of a few junior defensive backs prospects around the state holding a scholarship offer. The 5-foot-10, 160-pound fierce hitter was offered by a Big 12 program in September and has many more FBS programs chasing.
"Oklahoma State is still my only offer,"Jones said. "I'm getting letters from Duke, LSU, Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, LSU, Kansas, Northwestern, Houston and Oklahoma State. I've receiver a lot of questionnaires to send back also. Texas is sending me a lot of e-mails too,"
The busy schedule has kept the sleek junior from taking trips to check out college games. On Saturday night, he had the chance to attend a game close to home.
