Daniel Stewart, a 6-foot-6 athletic forward from Neumann-Goretti (Philadelphia), chose Rider on Friday afternoon.
He averaged 11.5 points and 8 rebounds as a junior and was a first team all-league and third team all-city selection, helping the Saints win the Philadelphia Catholic League and City titles.
"He's a high flyer," Neumann assistant John Mosco said. "Daniel runs the floor well, rebounds and brings a toughness that you can't replicate. He's working on his handle and jump shot to be successful at the next level."
