Tank Tyler to the Panthers for a fifth-round pick because they felt comfortable with
Ron Edwards as their nose tackle. The Rams contemplated trading left tackle
Alex Barron, according to a source, but they instead got value for linebacker
Will Witherspoon (wide receiver
Brandon Gibson and a fifth-round choice from the Eagles).
There was no question the Raiders, Browns and other teams had players on the market, but there wasn't much action.
