Back in November 2007, Bob Bradley was on the phone giving his take on the record number of American soccer players earning a paycheck overseas, a trend that had been selected by ESPN The Magazine as one of the biggest sports stories of the year.
During the call, we mentioned that while the U.S.'s '02 and '06 World Cup rosters were evenly split between MLS and Euro-based guys, it seemed likely that the 2010 U.S. squad would skew more heavily toward the Americans playing overseas. Bradley's response? Don't be so sure.
