Quarterback Dwight Macon (Steubenville, Ohio/Steubenville) has committed to Central Michigan over scholarship offers from Kansas, Wyoming, Ball State, Toledo and Bowling Green.

"I just thought it was the best fit for me," Macon said. "They were one of the first to offer. They were pushing hard and I think I'll have a pretty good chance to play early there."

The 6-foot-0, 190-pounder led Steubenville to a 12-1 record his sophomore season when he passed for 1,600 yards and 14 touchdowns and rushed for 1,200 yards and scored 12 times.
