Police reportedly don't know everything that took place inside Miguel Cabrera's home Saturday morning because neither the Tigers' first baseman nor his wife would elaborate about who did what to whom. But here is what is known:
Rosangel Cabrera, the player's wife, made a 911 call at 6:05 a.m. and asked police to come to the home. Police arrived and administered a test to determine Miguel Cabrera's blood alcohol level, and the reading came back at 0.26, more than three times the legal limit to drive a car. Cabrera was taken away by police and was picked up more than an hour later by Detroit general manager Dave Dombrowski. That night, Cabrera played in a crucial game for the Tigers, with scratches and bruises on his face, going hitless in a loss to the White Sox.
The information from police came out Monday, meaning the first opportunity reporters had to ask Cabrera about specifics of the incident came Tuesday afternoon before Detroit's game in Minnesota.
