Lattimore, Shaw making visits in the South

Two of the country's top prospects, running back Marcus Lattimore (Duncan, S.C./Byrnes) and defensive back Joshua Shaw (Palmdale, Calif.) could end up playing their college football for Big Ten powers Penn State and Ohio State respectively.

However, both are making official visits elsewhere this weekend.

Lattimore, the No. 10 prospect on the ESPNU 150, is making an official visit to Florida State this weekend. This will be Lattimore's first official visit. He also has trips set to Auburn (Oct. 31) and Penn State (Nov. 7). Lattimore is considering seven schools, but in the end it would not be surprising if his decision comes down to Penn State, Florida State or South Carolina.
