David Perry (Davie, Fla./University School) is taking things slow. He holds scholarship offers from many of the top programs in the Southeast, but has yet to narrow down his list to a firm group that he intends to visit officially.
The 6-foot-5, 230-pounder is being recruited by LSU, Florida, Miami (Fla.), Florida State, Alabama, South Carolina, Arkansas, Tennessee, Ole Miss, South Florida and Kentucky. He says that he talks to recruiters from all of those programs on a daily basis.
"I am not even close to making a decision right now," Perry said. "I want to go somewhere I am comfortable and that I can maximize my potential."
