OK, fellow puckheads, we've made it through the preseason! That's a happy, happy day. Well, at least it is for me. No more meaningless games. And, for the first time in a few years, we're going to start the regular season in North America. The Premiere Games -- this year in Stockholm and Helsinki -- will be played on Friday and Saturday. That's a smart move by the league. In previous years, I thought those games got lost in the shuffle of college and pro football as well as the baseball playoffs.
There are four games on the opening night schedule. Here are a few quick things that I'll be looking for in each contest.
