Ivan McCartney (Miramar, Fla./Miramar) is down to four schools, Florida, Miami, Oregon and West Virginia, according to ESPN affiliate DuckTerritory.com. He also said that North Carolina has been recruiting him and may work its way into the picture.
McCartney has an official visit set up for West Virginia on Oct. 17 when the Mountaineers host Marshall and says he plans to visit Florida on Nov. 28 -- the weekend the Gators host to in-state rival Florida State. He previously visited Oregon officially on the weekend of Sept. 19, when the Ducks hosted to Utah.
He added he plans to take the full allotment of official visits, but has yet to schedule any addition trips.
McCartney is the nation's No. 112 overall prospect (No. 19 receiver) and was one of the top performers at the Miami Nike Football Training Camp in the spring. To this point, the 6-foot-1, 170-pounder has been non-committal about his recruitment.
