Chris Hawkins (Channelview, Texas/Channelview) is one of a number of talented receiver prospects in Texas. Having earned the reputation of a big-time playmaker -- he has 11 receptions for 221 yards and two touchdowns in three games -- the 6-foot-1, 175-pounder has caught the eye of programs nationwide.
Last weekend, Hawkins made his first official visit with a trip to a Big Ten school.
"I just got back from Minnesota," Hawkins said. "It was nice, I enjoyed the visit. I liked the stadium. Man, it was nice. I could see myself playing at Minnesota,"
