The Cubs share in Bradley's failure

The Cubs finally had had enough with Milton Bradley, who almost certainly will never play another game in their uniform. The organization is ready to eat enough money of the $21 million still owed to him that it can get rid of him -- and lest there be any doubt that the cost of dumping him will be enormous, rival officials believe the Cubs will have to swallow something in the range of $18 million to $19 million or else take a larger dead contract in return to make something happen.

Maybe he could go back to Texas, where the Rangers have seen the best of Milton Bradley, the guy who spends more time getting on base than complaining about his latest beef with the world.
