Great defenders come in all shapes and sizes. Some can disrupt an offense with their relentless pressure on the basketball, while others can close out to a seemingly open man and turn a good shot into a low-percentage shot. There are also players who protect the basket and eliminate their team's defensive mistakes with their length and timing.
That's why I've broken my best defenders into three categories: the Pests, the Stoppers and the Rim Protectors.
