Notre Dame's A.J. Pollock went hitless in seven official at-bats in Saturday's doubleheader versus Cincinnati, dropping his season line to .373/.438/.568 with 14 extra-base hits. One scout I spoke to Saturday recently saw the two of the four top college center fielders and compared them to Pollock, whom he saw the past two weekends.

"I like [Matt] den Dekker's athleticism, Pollock's wrists and strength, and [Brett] Jackson's speed," he said. "But I don't think any of the three are first round guys. Interesting skill sets, for all of them, and they are all somewhat different, but they are all behind Wheeler for me right now."
