Knicks could help lead CC to New York

• Chad Billingsley slipped on ice and broke his leg, and you do have to wonder if this will reignite the Dodgers' interest in a deal for Jake Peavy. This is exactly the kind of unexpected development that can change stalled trade talks.

The Dodgers say he should be ready by spring training, which is what you should say if you're sitting in L.A.'s position.

He claims to have witnessed the Commodores' winning football season in 1982 (although anthropologists have not yet confirmed this).
