Bad news for Cardinals

The start of the Phillies-Cardinals game was delayed by rain, so I switched the channels back and forth last night, hoping to catch Mark Mulder's first start of the season. And when I first saw Mulder, he came to the set position and badly missed on ball four to Chase Utley. Then he called out catcher Jason LaRue and trainer Barry Weinberg, and his outing was over. On the Cardinals' broadcast, they showed him making an awkward pickoff throw to first base before the Utley walk, in which he threw sidearm -- as if he couldn't get his arm angle higher.
