Lots of reaction to the Penn State item from Monday's blog leads this week's mailbag:
From Patrick in San Diego: I'm 39-years-old. I've been a Penn State fan since I was a little kid watching games with my dad, who is an alumni. Although I didn't go to Penn State, I'm a big Penn State supporter. Joe Paterno has been the head coach at PSU my entire life, and I feel the pain when they suffer through bad seasons. However, I think it's a load of crap to say that Paterno isn't cutting it anymore or that the program's stature isn't what it used to be.
