Three Strikes: Cabrera's a king

STRIKE ONE -- THE CABRERA CLUB: Elsewhere on this site, in a spectacular and surely award-winning video-blog extravaganza, I nominate Miguel Cabrera as a guy positioned to win an MVP award. Finally.

Wait. Did I just say, "Finally?" The guy is 24 years old. So I need to fine myself five bucks for even typing that word, don't I?

But there is a reason I typed it. And the reason is, Miguel Cabrera has already finished in the top five of two MVP elections -- and did that before he'd even turned 24. So that got me to wondering, naturally: How many other players have ever done that?
