Here's a preview of the Big 12 tournament, which starts on Thursday in Kansas City.
No. 8 Texas Tech vs. No. 9 Oklahoma State (ESPN2, 12:30 p.m. ET)
These teams split their series in the regular season with each winning at home. The Red Raiders' year-long inconsistency did not change after Bob Knight retired and turned the reigns over to his son, Pat, but they did get home wins over ranked opponents (Kansas State and Texas).
When Texas Tech is at its best,
Martin Zeno and
Alan Voskuil are scoring and moving well in the motion offense. Zeno is the best in the conference, by far, in getting himself to the foul line.
