LSU wins battle with Alabama for Tolliver

Last week Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide stole one away from LSU in cornerback Robby Green (River Ridge, La./John Curtis Christian), but this week Les Miles held onto one of the fastest wide receivers in this class in Under Armor All-American Chris Tolliver (Rayville, La.). Now the Tigers have two Tolivers, Terrence and Chris (Tolliver). Not losing this recruiting battle to Alabama has to have Miles breathing a sigh of relief; there doessn't need to be more fuel added to this rivalry, particularly on the LSU side.

As far as acceleration goes Tolliver, ranked No. 64 in the ESPN 150, can get from 0-60 in a hurry, making him very dangerous vertically and after the catch if he gets a seam. His ability to separate against man coverage could end up being his greatest asset at the next level because he is a "space player," what everyone wants right now.
