One thing that I am pretty certain about going into the 2007 regular season is that the New Orleans Saints will once again be one of the top offensive teams in the NFL. Look at the numbers from last season. They finished the 2006 season with the No. 1 ranked offense in the NFL and should be even more balanced this season. While the Saints offense has grabbed a lot of attention going into the 2007, I believe it is the Saints defense that could be ready to make some noise as well.

No defensive coordinator received less attention for doing more then the Saints' Gary Gibbs did last season. With holes at tackle, linebacker and in the secondary, Gibbs was able to scheme and will the Saints defense to being the No. 11 ranked defense in the NFL. The Saints finished the season No. 3 versus the pass, but No. 23 versus the run.
