I was speaking recently with an NBA player about the Michael Vick case, and here's what he said: "That's why I don't have an entourage." It's not that the player didn't think what Vick was accused of doing (and plans to plead guilty to next Monday) was heinous. He did. But he was merely commenting on how Vick's boys sold him out so thoroughly. How quickly they forgot about all the money Vick had spent on them throughout his career. How he had always had their backs even during their previous brushes with the law.
