Coach Greg Schiano and his Rutgers staff continue to invade the state of Florida to upgrade their overall team speed and athleticism.
This time they've done it at quarterback with the addition of D.C. Jefferson (Winter Haven, Fla.). As I mentioned in his report, he is going to remind fans of former LSU QB Rohan Davey in terms of measurables and arm strength. He has the tools, but is also raw and must be developed.
For the first time under Greg Schiano, Rutgers may now have a guy under center who can create and make some things happen with his legs too.
