I spent much of Wednesday talking with league insiders about the Kobe Bryant saga, and despite Kobe's trade demand on Stephen A. Smith's radio show, no one believes the Lakers are going to trade Bryant. And this was before Kobe went on ESPN Radio's Dan Patrick Show and then WLAC AM 570 in Los Angeles Wednesday afternoon and basically took back the trade demand. Just hours after telling Stephen A. there was nothing the Lakers could do to get him to change his mind about wanting to be traded, Kobe went on Dan's show and said, "I don't want to go anyplace else. I want to be a Laker. I want to be here for the rest of my career." And then on the "Loose Cannons" show he said, "I hope the Lakers do something [to rectify our situation]. I don't want to go nowhere.''
