The Royals' bullpen swung the bats like Ty Cobb. Paul Byrd pitched like a man who refuses to count to four. And Andruw Jones made us harken back to the legendary George Pipgras.

So join us once again as we look back at the Useless Oddities of the week:

THAT SWEET-SWINGING K.C. BULLPEN
If there's anything we love more about interleague play than the sight of those AL pitchers heading for home plate, it's the sight of a couple of AL relief pitchers flying around the bases.
