Martin's energy drives Dodgers
It was no one-hit wonder that Russell Martin had three hits, stole a base, scored three runs, knocked in two and threw out a baserunner on Jackie Robinson Night. Martin is, without doubt, the Dodgers' best player, not only because he is arguably the best defensive (and certainly the most athletic) catcher in the National League or because he finished that night hitting .366.
But because Martin plays like Robinson, sixty years later.
