KG on his own legacy

NEW YORK -- Another night passed without Kevin Garnett saying the three magic words that would change his life, and after speaking to KG and those around him, I came away a little more convinced that we may never hear him declare "I want out." After reading Marc Stein's piece earlier this week in which Garnett didn't say whether he'd ever want to move on, I went to Madison Square Garden on Friday night to hear what he had to say. Seeing how Stein couldn't crack him with the direct questioning method, I went with a different approach, trying to get Garnett to look at himself the way an outsider would. I asked him what he thinks his legacy will be, pointing out that he's been in the league 12 years now -- more than enough time to shape the lasting impressions he's going to leave.
