Does Cutcliffe, Bama make sense?

The Alabama coaching search enters its fourth week with no end in sight. When West Virginia coach Rich Rodriguez turned down the job nearly two weeks ago, I suggested that Alabama athletic director Mal Moore hand over the program to defensive coordinator Joe Kines. That way he would maintain some stability and get a fresh start at the same time.

Moore, judging by his inaction, decided my advice was worth what he paid for it.
