I had a chance on Wednesday afternoon to talk to Houston senior Kevin Kolb, one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the country.
Kolb has completed 70 percent of his passes with 12 touchdowns and only one interception in 135 pass attempts in leading the Cougars to their first 4-0 start in 16 seasons. Houston has launched a Web site touting Kolb as a Heisman Trophy candidate, and the quarterback could gain a lot of national attention Saturday if he can lead the Cougars to their first win over Miami in three decades. (Houston hasn't won in the series since a 21-16 win at the Houston Astrodome on Dec. 4, 1976.)
