STRAFFAN, Ireland -- Sorry, folks. Been a long few days writing, editing, chatting and making predictions -- not to mention taking cover, as 40 mph winds are currently attacking the media center here at The K Club -- and I haven't had much time for blogging.

So let's get right to some of the questions:

I believe that it makes the most sense to throw Tiger/Furyk and Phil/DiMarco out there eight times and then fill in the other eight guys two times each in the other eight matches to get the most out of the Friday and Saturday matches. Do you agree? -- Rob, Dallas

Rob, I do agree with you -- to a point. I'd love to see each of those teams stay intact for all four matches, but what happens if, say, Tiger and Furyk lose, 4 and 3 in the morning, then 5 and 4 in the afternoon? Should U.S. captain Tom Lehman blindly keep them paired together all day on Saturday, too? I think he'd be opening himself up to criticism if he did that. And if there's one thing Lehman doesn't want, it's criticism.

How is it possible that J.J. Henry is on our Ryder Cup team? With talent like Henry (69th in the world) instead of Davis Love III or Kenny Perry, we have no chance. -- Mike, Southport

Mike, the PGA of America changed around the Ryder Cup points this year and it's become a much more volatile system. But look at this way: How many losing teams have guys like Love and Perry been on in the past? It's time for some new blood and I actually think Henry will play very well this week.

What's with the middle America comment? Some of the top U.S. courses reside in the Midwest -- Firestone, Inverness, Cog Hill, Oakland Hills and Muirfield to name a few. -- Jason Gerberry, New York

Didn't mean any offense by it. In fact, it was even a compliment. I just wanted to show how different this course is from what we generally regard as a Irish golf course. Nothing wrong with any of those great Midwest venues.

Keep the questions coming, folks. See you tomorrow.
