The key for any elite program is to replace good players with more good players, and through the first month of the season we've already seen a bunch of budding new stars emerge. This week's list topic is Best Replacements.
1. LSU DT: In: Glenn Dorsey. Out: Kyle Williams. Meet the SEC's newest defensive star. The 6-2, 300-pound junior actually combines the best attributes of the Tigers departed great inside tandem from last year (Williams and Claude Wroten). If you judge the Tigers first three games, Dorsey might be the best DT in the country right now. With him causing havoc up front, LSU bottled up Auburn holding them to 182 yards (Kenny Irons managed just 2.8 yards per carry on 25 rushes). For the game, Dorsey made 8 tackles, 3 TFLs and 1½
sacks.
