Hitting up the Friday mailbag on a travel day leaving the Lonestar State.
From Steve in Raleigh, NC: I feel there is a distinct oversight on your "ten toughest position vacancies" article. Clearly, the North Carolina State defensive end combination of Mario Williams and Manny Lawson would have easily allowed you to put "NC State Defensive End" in your top 10. For a few of your choices you have one player of relative significance (ie. DeMeco Ryans, Sinorice Moss, Brodrick Bunkley) and these individuals are not themselves as good as Mario Williams who will be a top-6 pick and is a freak (6-foot-7, 295 at D End). Combine that with Manny Lawson, who opened everyone's eyes at the combine with a 4.45 40 from the D End position and who other ends were being compared to athletically. I believe the case for NC State defensive end trumps more than a few of your top ten selections.
