Here's a confession I'm not proud of.
I'm 8,800 e-mails behind in my uselessinfodept@yahoo.com inbox alone. And it sure isn't because I don't try. I'm a guy who prides himself on answering as much e-mail as I can, and I still can't keep up.
So if I haven't gotten to your e-mail, sorry. At least you have 8,799 other folks you can commiserate with.
But just so you know I actually do read as many of these as I can, I'm starting something today I hope to make a regular feature of this blog all winter -- a mailbag edition of Three Strikes.
It might not show up every week. Depends on my schedule. But it won't be just one blog and a cloud of blahblahblah. It will be "regular" (by which I mean "more than one"). And it will include all the stuff a Three Strikes mailbag ought to include -- reactions to previous columns and blogs, fun with numbers, maybe even a little reader trivia.
So here we go. On with the mailbag.
