Top 25 recruiters of the year
Greg Mattison, Tony Alford land among the 25 best recruiters of the 2013 class

Now that national signing day has passed and most of the Class of 2013 recruits have signed their letters of intent, it's time to recognize the men who helped bring them to their new teams. Some of the recruiters on this list will be familiar, but there are also newcomers who have stood up and made people take notice on the recruiting trail over the past year.
Here are the top 25 coaches, listed in alphabetical order, who made big splashes in the 2013 recruiting cycle.
Tony Alford
Alford was key down the stretch for the Fighting Irish as they looked to put the finishing touches on a class that was mostly completed by the end of the season. Alford landed No. 2 running back Greg Bryant in December and then ESPN 150 athlete Tarean Folston a month later. He also brought ESPN 300 tight end Mike Heuerman on board early.
