They're only opinions, but at least they're all mine:

• At least Lane Kiffin caught a break from the NCAA, even if it turns out USC didn't in the aftermath of all the other post-Reggie Bush allegations around the country.

• Call me a skeptic, but I think Marc Tyler's future status will be directly related to the health of the remaining tailbacks on USC's roster.
