Kiffin's coaching is hot topic
Second-year coach gameplans well, but in-game adjustments appear troublesome

Much of the conversation on the WeAreSC message boards after the victory over Minnesota on Saturday revolved around the coaching of Lane Kiffin. Like most discussions that involve Kiffin, the opinions were widely varied, with some posters critical of his in-game decisions while others noted the Trojans did enough to come away with the W.
The game did give some fairly accurate examples of where Kiffin is at in his second year here. He is clearly a work in progress, still one of the youngest coaches in college football despite having almost four years of head coaching experience already under his belt. At USC, however, fans aren't used to seeing a coach learn on the job, and many of them are paying close attention to see if Kiffin can make the transition from coach with great potential to great coach.
