In my humble opinion, Cardinal & Gold thoughts on what I see, what I hear, and what I think.
• The Trojans may be gone from Pac-12 and BCS championship consideration, but not forgotten by the AP voters. The Men of Troy are No. 25 in the AP preseason poll, which gives the Pac-12 three teams in the Top 25 along with No. 3 Oregon and No. 7 Stanford.
• Two of the Trojans' new Pac-12 South Division rivals are "ranked" below the Men of Troy. ASU and Utah, both picked by some to win the South Division, are listed as "others to be considered."
