Quick hitters: Where's the D?
Lack of defense in the bowls to date has "The Rematch" looking better and better

LOS ANGELES -- They're only bowl season opinions, but at least they're all mine:
• Bring on LSU and Alabama. I'm ready for anyone who can play a little defense.
• I'm still rubbing my eyes from the zillion yards Washington coughed up against Baylor in San Antonio. I wasn't surprised the defensive staff was fired the next day. I was surprised it wasn't dismissed at halftime. Seriously, that was the single worst defense (442 yards rushing!) I've ever seen. And I've seen a few.
