Handicapping the Heisman race
Richardson, Luck and Griffin look to be ahead of USC quarterback Matt Barkley

LOS ANGELES -- On the surface, it is a crowded Heisman Trophy field, overstuffed with legitimate, highly skilled candidates.
But in reality, it is likely just a two-man race.
Messrs. Luck and Richardson, please step forward. That's right, the balloting, which figures to be among the closest in recent Heisman history, will come down to Stanford's seasonlong front-runner Andrew Luck and Alabama's glitzy featured tailback Trent Richardson.
