LOS ANGELES -- When highly energetic, first-year linebackers coach Mike Ekeler came running down the storied Coliseum tunnel for the first time in the USC Trojans initial spring scrimmage, he knew he was following in the footsteps of some of the greatest players in college football history.
"It was pretty phenomenal, when you think of all the tremendous players and all the tremendous games," Ekeler gushed. "You've seen it on TV since you're a little kid. It's a honor to go into that Coliseum, and it's an honor to coach here."
