Bush had the championships and awards, but Barkley has place in USC history

One player's legacy will be remembered for what he did for his university. The other will be remembered what he did to his university.
One will be forever remembered for leading his university through NCAA sanctions while the other will be forever remembered for placing his university into the darkest depths of those sanctions.
Maybe it was just the sensitivity of the moment, but when the Trojans arrived in El Paso, Texas, for the Hyundai Sun Bowl in their first bowl game since 2009, there was a strange visual as injured quarterback Matt Barkley walked past a presumed Trojans fan who was wearing a No. 5 home jersey, symbolic of Reggie Bush.
